The ELI’s Student Mentor Program is designed to provide international students with a peer mentor (a Syracuse University student) who assists them in their transition to life in the U.S. The mentors make a lasting contribution to the lives of our new students as they become familiar with the challenges and rewards of student life on the campus of Syracuse University and the surrounding community. Our Spring 2017 student mentors are:

Madeline Lorang – Class of 2018
College of Arts & Sciences, B.S. Citizenship and Civic Engagement

Linnea Powell – Graduate Class of 2018
Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs, Masters of Public Administration
