This short-term part-time program combines high-quality English instruction with hands-on exposure to American higher education, campus life, and U.S. culture. Students study on Syracuse University’s historic campus, gaining meaningful insights into American classrooms, communities, and multicultural perspectives—all in just three weeks in summer or fall.

Program Eligibility:
- You must be at least 17 years of age, a non-native speaker of English, and have completed your secondary education, AND
- You must have some knowledge of basic English grammar and the ability to understand verbal instructions.
International Travel Information
The American Campus Experience (ACE) is a short-term part-time program designed for individuals seeking to improve their English skills while experiencing U.S. academic and cultural life. Eligible participants may include international visitors with appropriate travel authorization, as well as citizens of countries participating in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program (VWP). Travel and entry requirements vary by citizenship and immigration status. Individuals who may require a student visa should contact ELI first to discuss eligibility and enrollment requirements.
